Abstract

Recurrent Pregnancy Loss (RPL) is defined as two or more failed clinical pregnancies before 20 weeks. In Ayurveda, RPL corresponds to Garbhasravi due to Garbhasthapaka impairment. Case: A 31-year-old woman with four consecutive early pregnancy losses (7–8 weeks) presented with 1.5 months of amenorrhea and a desire to continue healthy pregnancy. Assessment: Previous losses showed absent cardiac activity; Ayurvedic evaluation suggested Vata-Pitta vitiation and Dhatu kshaya. Intervention: Shatavari granules, Amalaki Rasayan, and Amyron syrup were administered throughout pregnancy along with routine antenatal monitoring. Outcome: The patient carried the pregnancy to full term and delivered a healthy baby without complications. Conclusion: Ayurvedic Garbhasthapaka therapy may support favourable outcomes in RPL patients. Further research is recommended.
